We are off! We packed our bags, handed over the house keys to our nice renters, said goodbye to all our friends and neighbors and left Juneau. After a rainy summer Alaska teased us with a beautiful crisp fall day, but with the knowledge that the next rain squall was just around the corner, we waved good bye one last time and got on the plane to Seattle.

Wir sind unterwegs. Wir packten unsere Taschen,  übergaben die Haustürschlüssel unseren netten Mietern, verabschiedeten uns von Freunden und Nachbarn und verliessen Juneau. Alaska hat uns noch mit einem wunderschönen Herbsttag gelockt, aber mit dem Wissen, dass der nächste Regentag nicht lange auf sich warten lässt winkten wir noch einmal und bestiegen das Flugzeug nach Seattle.
